Roses are blue,
Violets are red.
Hats cover feet,
Socks cover head.
Trees grow short,
Flowers tall.
Mice are big
Hippos small.
Boxes are circles,
Balls are squares.
Eyes are alone,
Noses in pairs.
Chickens roar,
Lions cheep.
Children awake-
Parents asleep!
